| Background | Peggy Lee was captured and radio-tagged at Port of the Islands on 23 January 2002. She is a large female weighing 1,670 pounds with a total length of 340 cm.! She is missing her right flipper, likely a result of a previous entanglement injury. She also has several scars from propeller strikes, as well as a moderate tail mutilation, which indicate that she has had at least a few encounters with boats in her past. | ||
