Excitement in the Classroom

Here at our school in Benica, California we can watch a hummingbird from our classroom windows. 
We have a hand signal we use if we spot it during our lessons. We think it's an Anna's hummingbird. We don't have a feeder, it's  just a large planter box filled with salvia. We are happy to have the chance to watch the hummingbird almost every day!
