We estimate that it will take 50 to 83days and 8 hours to go from Mexico to Alaska.
Whales travel between 3 and 5 miles per hour.

>From Mexico to Alaska is 6000 miles
If they travel at 3mph
                          6000miles divided by 3mph = 2000 hours
                          Since there are 24 hours in a day 2000hrs. divided by 24 = 83days & 8hrs.

If they traveled at 4mph
                          6000 divided by 4 = 1500 hours
                          1500 divided by 24 = 62 days & 12 hrs.

If they traveled at 5mph
                          6000 divided by 5 = 1200 hours
                          1200 divided by 24 = 50 hrs.

Depending on the actual speed of the whale, it will take 50 to 83.3 days.
